23.4 update and preview not working properly

Question

Hello,

since the last update, preview is not showing layer updates until I move the timeline cursor. For example, hiding and unhiding layers or changing the scale by clicking and entering a number doesn't show up until I click the timeline, and it's very frustrating. Changes do show up real time when I play with the effects panel or change scale by dragging up and down.

Anyone with the same issue?

Sorry to hear about the issue. We are here to help.

Could you share your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? Does it happen with all the projects or a particular one? Can you try running After Effects in Safe Mode (go to After Effects Preferences > Startup & Repair > Safe Mode)?
