3D Camera Tracker

In After Effects - I have tried all sugestions that was posted in the community, but nothing worked - can some help

I get an error message as 'Analysis solve failed' and then '3D Camera Tracker Layer Size must match composition and use default transform values'

I have also attached screenshot of error message. Request some support.

Camera Tracker requires a lot of fixed geometry in the shot. It is extremely difficult to camera track a shot of a surfer riding a wave because everything is constantly changing, and nothing remains in the same position. The same thing happens if you are trying to Camera Track a combine driving through a wheat field when the wind is blowing.

Show us your shot, and we can offer suggestions that may help you figure out how to solve your production challenges.

Hi - I tried using 3D camera tracker on the below video - click the link

I understand the video is long - but I tried trimming the video - scene with just no rush movements - nothing worked

You must have a fixed geometry with a fair amount of detail in a shot so that the Camera Tracker has something in the frame to use for calculating perspective shifts. I watched the entire video, and there were only three shots in the entire film that may have enough detail for the Camera Tracker to lock on to the details for a few frames. I did not see any shots that would work for that tool.

Also, you can only Camera Track one shot at a time. I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but Camera Tracking isn't the right tool for any of that footage.

Have you scaled up or down your media? You get this message when the layer scale is changed or the media doesn't fit the Composition. The best way to create a Composition with matching is to drag the footage to the "Create a new Composition" icon in the Project panel. You can also right-click the media and select "New Comp from Selection".

Thanks for sharing the media. Because of the complexity, I don't think it's the best kind of shot for a 3D camera solve in After Effects. You may need to separate the shot into segments and then track individual segments. Also, I am not 100% sure if After Effects will be able to track all the segments. For example, I tracked your footage from 11 seconds to 15 seconds, and it worked well. However, you should not get the error that you mentioned in the original post. Did you try creating the comp with the method suggested above?
