3D Layer for object and the background turns black

Hello! I select an object and make it in 3D, but the background turns black. How to remove it? Thanks.

My first guess is that the comp view is not set to Active Camera. I think it is set to Front. The camera views do not show up until you add a 3D layer, camera, or light. Your screen recording does not show the comp/camera view.
