Question

3D Layer Rotation smoothing

I would like to add a zoom-in effect to the tracked screen. It would work if the rotation of the 3D layer did smooth over time during the set keyframes. The final rotation only happens at the end, despite easing and speed adjustments.

In order to avoid any such drift, your base footage and your replacement screen need to be 100% in sync and locked together. It won't work if you add animation to one but not the other.

To achieve this, I would first use the 3D camera Tracker in order to get your screen to lock into place correctly. Once both base and replacement are locked together and not drifting you will precompose both your base layer and your replaced screen and apply the final rotation animation to the combination of both. This will ensure that the screen does not drift from the background.
