Question

3D layers don't stay in place and don't follow tracked nulls/solids

Hi,

I 3D camera tracked a scene and for some reason my 3D layers aren't staying in place anymore. I even tried parenting them to nulls (that do stay in place) but the 3D layers just won't react. What do you think I'm doing wrong? I checked all the videos to see if I was missing something (which I doubt as I have tracked other scene before with no issue at all). In this video, he just creates a 3D camera and wherever he places the 3D layer, they stick.

Thank you all in advance!

We need more info to help you. Some screen captures of your composition and timeline panels (with modified properties revealed) would be great.

Anyway, the first thing you must to check is that you are in the active camera (not frontal) and that your layers are 3D layers. Also, parenting to 3D nulls is not a good solution if your layers are not in the same Z position as the null. It is a better option to link the layer's position to the null's position and then moving the anchor point if you want to create an offset.
