3D Materials and Material Assignment in v26.0

So, I was trying to add the materials from a 3D model I found. How do I add these matereals to after effects, so it can process that it is a material mesh? I already attempted to add the textures to the timeline, but to no avail. I've looked everywhere, but since it's still so new there aren't any tutorials on it yet.

The file that I'm using is a .FBX file.

Thanks for reaching out.

You'd need to import the .sbsar file from here, which can be applied to 3D objects. Here's a guide that should help: https://adobe.ly/3XCMgi5

Also, you can animate 3D objects in the current version. You'd need to import the wheel as a separate 3D model.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
Nishu

Also, can you animate things within the layer on this version? I'm working on a car, and need to rotate the wheels.
