3d text in After Effect to follow Cinema4d Imported file...

Hi. I have been trying to find the solution for a couple of hours and two more hours in Google trying to find the way to do this but nothing.

I have a Cinema4d Project of a map and a camera following a path.

I now imported the project into AE and I can see the animation there.

What I want to do know is to in the AE sequence I want to add a Text in 3d space on top of the C4D layer. I want to do this since the C4D project is already rendered and exported (which take many hours to do). I will need this map with texts in different languages so I though I would be faster to generate the text in AE, and then export only the text with transparency and add it to the video exported from Cinema4D.

The problem is that when I add the text i will not follow the terrain of the C4D, I mean, is not seen by the C4D camera as a 3d object.

Don't know if I make myself understandable

Many thanks for any help on this one.

Cris

Correct answer Mylenium

Create suitable auxiliary objects and hierarchies with Null objects etc in C4D and have them converted to AE Nulls and solids via Cineware so you can use them to attach layers.
