Hi,
I am trying to add the 3rd party plugin Easecopy EaseCopy - aescripts + aeplugins - aescripts.com
As per their instructions I am advised to copy the file into: Program Files\Adobe\Adober After Effects <version>\Support Files\Scripts\ScriptUI Panels

HOWEVER, when I am in Program Files\Adobe there is no specific folder for After Effects. I chatted to Adobe on their chat function, they advised me to copy the file into the following:
> Adobe > Common > Plugins > 7.0 > MediaCore (You will be able to see the plugins in this folder else this folder will be empty, all third party plugins are found here.

I have done this, but the EASECOPY effect is nowhere to be found in After Effects. I have restarted the program and the computer and not been able to locate this effect.

This is a plugin that is really helpful for my workflow. Can anyone please help?

Hi Cassandra,

Thanks for writing in.

What's the version of After Effects that you installed? Are you able to use it? The folder icon for the After Effects folder is different from the default Windows folder icon. It looks like in the screenshot. If that's not the case, you can copy and paste the location (if you're using the latest version) in the address bar in Windows explorer. Here's the location: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects 2021\Support Files\Scripts\ScriptUI Panels"

Let us know if it helps.

Thanks,

Nishu
