64 bit After Effects

Previously, I've been using after effects cs4 on 32 bit windows 7 and made several projects on that.

But now, I'm planning to update my pc to Windows 7 -64 bit. my question is that, can i run my after effects 32 bit cs4 project on 64 bit after effects cs5 ? please reply...its urgent

    Yes, AE projects are always forward compatible and in fact you can even still run CS4 on Win 7 64bit.

    Does that mean I can run my cs4 32 bit project on 64 bit ae?

    The project file can open, yes. Here is a list of compatibility. For reference to that chart, CS4 is version 9. The latest version of AE (14.1) can open projects created from version 7.0 of AE.
