A question about Trapcode Form

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble.  Can you provide details about the exact version numbers of your OS, Ae, and Form that you’re using along with what’s happening?

If you happen to be trying to run an older version of Form with Ae 25.x or 26.x, it is very likely to result in nothing happening as expected.

I’m running Red Giant Form 2026.4.1 with After Effects 26.5.0 under macOS Sequoia 15.7.9 on an Apple Silicon based Mac and it runs pretty well.

Take some time to review the Maxon One Minimum Requirements and the Red Giant Compatibility page to make sure you up-to-date.  

It may also help to open a support ticket with Maxon.

There is a bit of an upgrade grind where we have to constantly be checking version numbers and, of course, there’s a cost associate with that as well.

Hi, sorry to hear about the issue. A couple of questions to help narrow it down:

1. Are you facing issues only with Trapcode Form, or with other plug-ins as well?

2. What are your system specifications (AE version, macOS version, Mac chip, RAM)?

If it's specific to Trapcode Form, best to contact Maxon (the plug-in's manufacturer) for help since they maintain it.
