aac5.1 after effects

Question

Hi, I would like to know if there's a way to play a movie I imported onto after effects with AAC5.1 audio. Theres no dialogue audio (i only hear background sounds) when I preview it and I wanna know if its possible to play it with dialogue, without having to convert anything, although i am willing to download a program or effect that would do this. The movie is in mp4 format. Thanks!

The solution is to render a production master in AE without audio, then use an NLE to combine the rendered production master of your AE comp with the multi-track audio. About 90% of my comps are composites with visual effects created from shots in a movie I'm editing. Most of them are only a few seconds long because most of the shots in a movie are only a few seconds long. I always finish my final audio mix in the NLE I'm using to cut the movie. I also do the final color grade there. If I'm using Premiere Pro, the final audio mix is usually polished in Audition using Dynamic Link. AE is not a video or audio editing app. It is only designed to create animations, composites, and motion graphics that cannot be created directly inside the NLE used to edit a movie.
