Adding an image to a stroke

Hi,I am trying to add an image to a shape layers stroke so bassically what I am trying to do is: I have a texture PNG that I want to add into the strok of a shape layer. How would I do something like that?Thank you!

Use a Track Matte.

Add your texture layer to the timeline, directly below the Shape layer that is generating the stroke.

You may need to press the "Toggle Switches/Modes" button at the bottom of the timeline to make the Track Matte menu visible.

Use the Track Matte dropdown list in the timeline window to set the texture layer's track matte to "Alpha Matte".

Now your stroke will be acting like a stencil, revealing the texture layer wherever the stroke layer was previously visible.
