Adobe After Effects 25.2 Error during startup

Adobe After Effects 25.2 will pop up an error message when starting, Windows 11 system. After the error message is turned off directly, it does not affect the loading and use of the software. I disabled all the plug-ins and plug-ins, and the problem still exists, and the error message will also appear when starting in safe mode, excluding the problem of plug-in incompatibility. The old version of the software can work normally.

It should be noted that there will be no error when starting from Adobe Creative Cloud, but if it is started from a shortcut, or even running AfterFX.exe directly from the software installation directory, an error will still appear. The dll file mentioned in the error message exists. The error message is as follows:

After clicking the OK button, the software will continue to load until the loading is complete. As shown in the figure:

Sorry for the delayed response. I'd recommend reaching out to the Windows support and see if they can help fix the issue.

Let me know how it goes with them. Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,
Nishu

Sounds like it could be related to your OS. Can you check if there are any updates available for Windows?

Thanks,
Nishu
