Hi there, I see my adobe after effects Cache in library is taking up 77GB on my macbook pro. Can i delete this folder? will it have implications on the application and its functioning? Will I be able to open old files I have on my hardrive and edit or will this remove all possibility of ever reopening those files.

That entirely depends how and where you are using CC Library assets. Technically AE will simply list them as offline but of course this could mean that entire projects do no longer look correct and ultimately you may be running in circles and be back at square one when you start re-downloading the same assets and the cache gets just as big. In any case, impossible to know without very specific info about the projects and all that. Unless you are really running low on free disk storage just leave it there and clean out unused file via the actuall CC Library interface.
