Adobe After Effects crashes on startup - Windows 10

Hello,

I've used AAE for a long time. I've been using it without problems, and nothing was wrong.I close the program, and when I try to open it again, it gives a startup crash. At first, it gave me an error log and the button "Send Crash report" and I click it.

I tried to find solutions to this startup crash. I've uninstalled the program 3 times, I've ressetted my pc 3 times, I've tried installing older versions, I've checked other community posts, I've deleted it's files and reinstalled them yet I still got the error.

I can't show the error I had because this happened almost a year ago.

I've been doing everything I could but I still got no response.

The only sort of response I got is when I resetted my pc for the first time, and it opened. I closed it, and I tried opening it again. I still got a crash. The other two resets didn't even help.

Recently, the crash error changed. It now gives me 3 different errors. The first one is about an "imcompatible OpenGL Driver" and the other two just simply say "Error: Adobe After Effects crashed." I don't even get a crash report anymore.

I've tried searching up the OpenGL driver error as well. Whatever I do, I keep getting a crash.

All the other programs are working fine, I can still use Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.

I am SO fed up with this. Please help. I don't even think It's qorth spending money on the program anymore since it doesn't even open.

I will try to find the old crash error.

Thanks for reaching out. I see that After Effects is not working at your end.

Have you tried updating the GPU driver as suggested by ToolfarmJP. If that didn't help, please try the suggestions mentioned in the following article: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/faq-how-to-fix-common-after-effects-crashes/td-p/10684130?page=1
