Adobe After Effects Output Video Codec

Hello experts,

In Adobe After effects we can easily find video format in render option, but can you please tell me Where can I find Adobe After effects video output format/codec in my file manager (hard disk)? i.e C:// program files/Adobe ? can you please tell me the path?

You render MP4's with the Adobe Media Encoder and not with After Effects. You do not want to use H.264 or really any other MPEG compression with Quicktime because apple stopped supporting those formats a few years ago in QT containers and AE's output module will not do the multi pass rendering required for the highest quality MP4 files.

So if i want to plugin .mp4 code what should i need to install. Quicktime player gives only .mov files

CoDecs are not separate files. They are an intricate network of specific driver extensions, DLLs and custom files introduced by the respective frameworks such as Quicktime. Even if there were such a thing as a one-stop directory, you cannot simply copy & paste some plug-in. You have to use proper install & uninstall procedures.
