Adobe is not SO BAD

It's about your workflow. I see a lot of posts about issues I've personally experienced. 

Make sure you are as finished as possible with a file from a specific app before before you save/export and move on to the next phase. Don't move files from their native location after beginning linking and comping. Preferably save all versions of assets to a collective folder for the project.
