Adobe, please explain why you took away the Show Timeline menu....

Why in the name of God did you guys take away the timeline panel item in window menu? There's no way to show the timeline unless you go through a few more layers and reset your whole workspace. Do you really think people want to reset their workspace each time the timeline is accidentally closed and then have to move things around again?

What is the logic behind this decision?

You're not losing your mind Tran5f95, the show timeline option in the Window menu is _not_ always there. It happens to me after a crash - the timeline window disappears and there is no option to get it back, other than reseting your workspace. There's some kind of bug...

Thank God...because I looked on another computer and it was there where it always has been for years. I thought they took it out and put it somewhere hidden and got super angry that anyone would think that was a good idea. We are all just working and trying to get things done and this happens and adds hours to the deadline.

Today I restarted my machine and the timeline option returned to its proper place. Man oh man...

Click Window, type ti --- It's right there, where it always has been.

I managed to get a screenshot of the missing timeline option in the Window menu today. As you can see, I have a comp open, but no way to open the associated timeline...
