Advancing the current-time display numerically not working

I used to use this feature all the time, but it’s not been working in recent versions (currently on 24.4). It says in the manual:

  • To go forward a specific period of time or number of frames, select the current-time display and then enter the plus sign (+) followed by the timecode or number of frames to advance. For example, enter +20 to go forward 20 frames or 1:00 to go forward one second. Precede the value by the minus sign (-) to go backward. For example, enter +-20 to go backward 20 frames or +-1:00 to go backward one second.

The time doesn't change if I try the above.

I just realised I was transferring my habits from another app, which is to take something like "10:00" and change to "10:00+15" to result in "10:15".  But I realised I'm just supposed to put in "+15".

Hi @urbanstarship,

Thank you for reporting this issue. Do you have any keyboard macros or capture software running that might be changing or redirecting the keyboard input?

Thanks again,

Can you do a screen capture and share what you are seeing? I just tested 24.4 Windows on my machine and it worked (assuming I'm following your steps correctly).
