AE 18.4 not relinking like it used to

Question

Prior to yesterday's update, if you found one missing file, it would automatially relink all the other missing files that were in the same folder. It doesn't do that now. In a work-around attempt, I dragged all the files in that folder into the folder with the missing files; in prior versions, that would relink the missing files and ignore the duplicates. Not any more. The links to the missing files stayed broken, and the existing files were duplicated. (Running Mojave.)

I'm also running Mojave and version 18.4 of Ae and I tried to replicate the relinking of three files and it does not give me that problem. I double-click one of the offline files, the Finder opens, I select that single file and automatically link the other two, it works fine for me. Did you try this procedure?
