AE 18.4 won't paste Text on Mac running latest OS!

Question

AE 18.4 won't paste Text into a text box or just straight into a clip on Mac running latest OS. Restarted the App. Restarted the computer. Reverted back to 18.2

Seriously Adobe, getting sick of uninstalling updates that break the workflow!

Get your act together. First and foremost I'm paying you to keep this application running stable. I DON'T CARE HOW MANY NEW FEATURES YOU ADD... make sure it WORKS RIGHT.... I'll pay you to leave it alone!!

This bug has been reported on this forum dozens of times in the past few days. Bug reports have been filed. You'll have to roll back your OS or live with the problem and workarounds until there is a fix. The problem was not with Adobe, it was with the update to Big Sur.

The easiest way I have found to solve the problem is to use AE Beta if you have it, or update the OS to 11.5.1. Beware that 11.5.1 breaks Rotobrush.
