AE 2021 RAM Preview; composition lock is missing

Question

Hi. I usually RAM preview my top-level composition, with other various nested compositions open at the same time. Up to AE 2020, I could click on a button in the lower-left of the composition window to "lock" a target composition for a ram preview so that no matter which nested comp happened to be active, only the comp I intended would ram preview. Was this feture removed? Is it hiding somewhere?

I noticed that also in 2021, to get access to multiple or single views of a composition, I also have to trick the application by making at least one layer 3D. Is the RAM preview lock button hiding in a similar place?

It seems the feature is now buttonless... I found it under the comps hamburger menu as "always preview this view". Is there a way to turn this back into a button or make it a keyboard shortcut?
