AE 2022 Start Up Error

If anybody can assist...

 

I just downloaded AE 2022 on iMac and get a Startup error as below:

 

"After Effects can’t continue: unexpected failure during application startup"

 

I have done the following:
- I have uninstalled and re-installed but the error is still there

- I have reset the preferences by holding Cmd+Alt+Shift at startup but the error is still there

A screenshot of the error is attached.

 

Please any advice will be helpful, as I am under huge pressure to get projects out and at the moment I'm dead in the water.

Hi Hercules,

 

Sorry for your issue.

What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? How do you launch After Effects - by double clicking a project file or by clicking its icon? Does it get past the splash screen when you try to lauch? If not, what's the last loading module?

I am also having the same issue as Hercules. It downloaded fine on my MacBook Pro but not on my iMac (MacOS Catalina, version 10.15.7)
