AE 22.11 - Crash on start when invoking C4D

Every single time I try to open AE 22.11, it crashes as soon as it starts, when you add a solid, or when you change from Classic 3D to C4D renderer.
I've reset the app preferences, replaced the config file in the Maxon R25 folder with the Adobe suggested one, updated all apps to latest versions, ... nothing works. The only solution is to keep working in v21.

Very VERY frustrating!
Adobe, what's going on here?
