AE 23.5 Crashing On Startup

Until a couple of weeks ago everything was working fine. I recently updated to Adobe 23.5 and now AE will not work. When I try opening it it hangs on "Initializing Media Core" and then crashes. I've tried the following solutions

Reinstall Adobe AE

Adobe CC cleaner tool

Neither of these solutions has worked and I am extremely frustrated because I cannot finish a project for a client due to this issue that has randomly sprung up. Any solution would be appreciated.

System Specs

OS: Windows 10 64

CPU: Intel i9-9900k

GPU: Nvidia 2070 Super

32 GB ddr4 ram

Any chance you've installed Trend Micro's Anti-malware software lately? We've noticed an uptick in startup crashes similar to what your describing due to that product.

If not, when AE does crash, are you presented with a crash dialog that you can put your email address into and send to us for further review? Or any chance a .crash file is being written to disk?
