AE 24.1 crashes after loading 2GB AI file

Hi. I'm a beginner AE user, so forgive me if I ask about obvious things.

My AE version 24.1 (Windows) crashes every time I try to open a file from Illustrator (about 2GB). I'm not sure if it's due to the file size or any other factors. So far, I've reset preferences, cleared the cache, and saved the AI file with different options. Unfortunately, without success. Does anyone have similar experiences and any advice?
