AE 24.2.1 Apple ProRes 4444 with alpha - cannot import - error messages this Moov file

Imac 5K 2019 Mac OS Ventura 13.5

Trying to import a Quicktime .MOV in Apple ProRes4444 with alpha generated out of Rotato and receiving following error messages in AE:

"Encountered errors while importing selected items.

1) After Effects error: Could not open source file. Please check that file exists with correct permissions

2) After Effects error: file '___.mov' cannot be imported - this 'Moov' file is damaged or unsupported."

I have tried clearing cache. I checked the permissions. The file is not damaged (opens in Quicktime and VLC). And this type of file in same codec exported from the same Rotato software was importing with no errors within this same project a week ago. Also other Apple ProRes 4444 .movs (but with no transparency layer) exported from Rotato are still importing fine into AE.
