AE 24 Crashes my Computer also Encoder Beta can't connect media

After Effects 24.2.1 crashes my computer randomly, makes the screen go vlack, sometimes restarts other times stays black till I hard reset. Also freezesd teh screen last time.

AE Beta works fine but can't export to Encoder, media appers disconnected

No error messages, screen just goes black and after a bit it restarts, or somtimes it doesn´t, goota turn it off. It only reports a crash when I open after again and offers to start in safe mode.

The problem with the disconnected media happens only with the beta version, but I can't use the After Beta with the regular Encoder or can I, not 100%.

I can use the regular render on after effects Beta, that works fine, I just use encoder so I can keep working while I render.

I wouldn't recommend using the beta version for your projects because the beta version can have all sorts of issues. I'd be happy to help you fix the issue with the official version. Some of the users reported problems with the latest Nvidia GPU driver. Try downgrading it and see if that brings any change.

That's not ideal.

What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? Is that anything specific that triggers the issue? Do you see any error messages?

For the issue with Media Encoder, are you using its beta version or the official version? Can you try exporting using the After Effects render queue?
