AE 3D tracker analysis failed

I experience a lot of issues with 3D camera tracker. When I try to 3d track this shot for example, AE tells me analysis solve failed, while I would expect there is clear data and movement to track. No matter which settings I adjust, it doesn't provide me with any 3D tracking points. It's shot on a Panasonic EVA1 in LOG, UHD, 25fps. What am I missing? Help is very much appreciated here...

I got a decent track by color-correcting the shot to add more contrast and edge sharpness, pre-composing moving all attributes, switching to the Motion Tracking workspace, then Tracking the camera with Advanced Analysis turned on. The error was 1.55 pixels, and that's pretty good for that shot. Not ideal, but pretty good.

Start by checking your hardware acceleration settings. oddly enough this affects the tracker, too. if it can't draw the points, it never produces a solution. The shot is tricky, but should at least produce something. Not sure how usable it will be, though. Since everything is basically grey with only very few real contrast points and features plus the track is jittery, very close to the subject and also very short, this may not produce a stable track. It may be simpler to do a conventional perspective track in mocha. Otherwise I'd definitely re-shoot it with a much longer motion and a gyro stabilized dolly or tracks plus quite a few dots placed on the tube and wall.
