Question

AE Crashes, Black screen and fans at 100% speed

I've got a brand new computer 3 months ago and I got some issues with After Effect especially and Premiere Pro. To put in a nutshell, while using the plugin SAber from Video Copilot and pressing SPACE to see my work, it instantly crashes (most of the time it is while working on Saber but I've already had this on a simple comp). When it crashes, I got black screen telling me that there is no input and all the fans of my computer are at 100% speed. I cannot turn it off through the power button, so I must cut the power supply directly (and I really don't love doing that tbh). I've already changed the processor, the HDD and the power supply 2 times ! I've experimented the same crashs on Premiere while visualize my work by pressing SPACE, it also crashed, the same issue.
My Setup might help you:
-Ryzen 9 3950X

-RTX 2070 Super 8Go from MSI
-16Go RAM at 3200MHz from Ballistix

-1 SSD of 500Go / 1HDD of 3To / 1 HDD of 4To
PS: I haven't touch any program of OC for the processor, I let Ryzen Master do his job. And something that can help you is that while playing any game, I have no issue, can play WarZone at 120FPS constant, AC Valhalla 80FPS constant. I have the last version of After Effect and Premiere Pro and tested to move on passed version of these, whitout success...
Thanks for your help!

And what do the crash logs actually say? If the system locks up that hard, than that's for sure a severe issue. However, my impression is that you don't seem to understand the difference between a reliable work system and a gaming machine. often those things simply cannot co-exist on teh same machine. Ultimately those optimized gaming drivers might to be blame, after all, and your only way of ever achieving peace may be to revert to older, application ready/ studio drivers which are actually certified to run certain apps.

I actually have the NVIDIA Studio Drivers 461.40, I already tried with older version of After in vain. I don't have crash reports of these ones, for example it crashed this morning and the last report is from saturday 6th... I've seen some people that had the same issues but they solved it by removing the Turbo max Boost technology.
