AE crashes when importing an AE file that has already been collected

There is a bug in AE 2022.6.5 running on MacOS 13.5 with M2 chip. After Effects crashes when importing an AE file that has been previously collected, into a current project with many layers, comps, etc.... Attached is the error prompt.

Thank you for you response..... Have not tried it on the 23.6 yet. I reduced the project down using "Reduced Project", and then imported the collected AE file. It seemed to do the trick.

 

Originally had a lot of psd files, and comps with 25+ layers. Reduced down to a handful of comps & psd files, when it worked.

Are you able to use 23.6 to see if the project will import correctly there? 22.6.5 may also have some issues with newer Macs due to MacOS changing underlying OS APIs.
