AE Error "Unable to read project color settings. Color settings reset to factory defaults"

Question

Hey, I've been trying to open my After Effects project file and this pop up error of "Unable to read project color settings. Color settings reset to factory defaults" is preventing me from doing so.

Once I press "OK", the project is basically empty. All of the prior work is non-existent now. Any solution to this??

Without any info about the contents of the project and what color settings you actually used nobody can tell you much. From some weird bug to you having done soemthing crazy like using a monitor profile wrongly this could be anything, including of course everyone's favorite hardware acceleration issues.
