AE Expression for position-x animation pasue/continue

Hi,

If I have a text, for example "Smooth Criminal" centered, which I repeated and animated the position on the x-axis, is it possible to stop this animation at certain intervals with an expression for a few frames and then let it continue? If I could set a slider to set this time interval, I could easily change the size of the text, which always stops in the middle for a while and then continues. So I want to do a loop without keyframes
