AE layout goes crazy when running a script/plugin

Anybody knows how to fix this?

I use a plugin/script called Immigration which allows me to quickly replace image sequences in AE (something I wish AE would have by default). Every time I run the script the layout in AE goes nuts and some of my tools get tiny, specifically those close to the Project tab.

Also, I have asked the author of the plugin for help but he said this isn't an issue with the plugin/script but with AE and I can confirm as this also happens with other unrelated scripts.
