Ae Light disabled

Hi, i my EA light is disabled, therefore i cant apply AE light effect on my object. please, i need help. thanks

    If I understand you correctly you have a 3D layer and you added a light of some kind and the light does not have any effect on the layer. If that is the case select both the light and the layer and press "uu" to reveal all settings that are not at their defaults. You might see something on the layer like Accepts Lights = off. If you can't figure it out by resetting parameters then post a screenshot.

    Very hard to assess the problem when you've provided no detail about your project.  Please post a screengrab of your timeline and preview windows, with all adjusted properties visible on all layers. (Select layers and press UU)

     

    After Effects lights only work on 3D layers.  Are your layers switched to 3D?
