AE Missing plugin Reports

Hello! I didn't see anything on the boards referring to this question - so I'm posting here for some thoughts. I regularly have to inspect and report on AE projects received from outside vendors. Common issues that eat up a lot of time are around Plugins: Missing, in need of an upgrade, finding what layers are watermarked, etc. What would be profoundly helpful is if it were possible to open an AE project and generate a report that quickly identifies said plugin issues. Project collect reports are helpful for listing used Plugins. However, it would be great if they could provide further info based on what new circumstances exist on "x" system being used to generate the report. Anything like this exist out there? 

Troubleshooting methods I'm already aware of: 

- using the search bar to identifty missing plugins within any specific comp

- paying attention to plugin error messages when opening a project
