AE not connecting to Media Encoder

So sick of this happening - my composition does not appear in the render queue in Media Encoder. Both programs are up to date - can anyone help?

Thanks for writing in.

What happens when you try to send the project to Media Encoder? Do you see any error messages? Does it happen to all the projects? Also, what are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?

Hi!

Media encoder app opens yet my composition does not appear.

 

Im using Mac OS Monterey Version 12.0.1 (screenshot attached)

Does it happen to multiple projects? Are you using any third-party plug-ins? After Effects 22.0 had a known issue around this. Please make sure to update After Effects and Media Encoder to the latest if they are not updated already.
