AE is just not rendering. But when linked to Premiere Pro, it plays in there. Cleared cache etc... unsure what to do, rebooted etc. Unable to reset to factory settings, too many custom settings in there. AE is just not rendering. But when linked to Premiere Pro, it plays in there. Cleared cache etc... unsure what to do, rebooted etc. Unable to reset to factory settings, too many custom settings in there.

What happens when you try to preview in After Effects? Does it show any error messages, or does it just not play? Is it happening with a specific project? If possible, could you share a screen recording showing the problem?

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. Do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).

Thanks - I've had the previous December nvidia version and then updated to the new nvidia Jan version - so both the current and rolled back ones yield the same issue
