AE not working M2 Pro MacBook Pro

as it says on the tin, I've reported to the adobe help on twitter, AE 23 doesn't work on m2 pro, I have discussed it with others who use the same chip
app opens, plays comps for a little bit, freezes, cannot render - either in prem, ae, or media encoder

when closing the ae app, it doesn't shut down properly, it must be force closed

tried resetting preferences, updating, using beta version, entering safe mode, does not work

We need a bit more info here to help as the M2 is supported for AE. Can you describe the problem more specifically? Does it start to load? Does it load? Is there a crash, etc?
