Hi all! I've never experienced this problem before and I'm wondering if someone can help me. I have an Ae project imported and being edited in Pr but the image is stretched. Both projects have the same aspect ratio of 1920x1080, so I don't know what's causing this problem. Any suggestions?

This is a user error problem.

Check the pixel aspect ratio. Make sure that it is square pixels in the Sequence and the Comp. Make sure that any footage is properly interpreted. If you are using any nonsquare footage in the comp or in Premiere Pro and it is interpreted as square pixels or the pixel aspect ratio is incorrect, it will be distorted. Footage must be interpreted as it actually is, not as you think is should be to prevent distortion.

Without details and screenshots showing footage, comp, and sequence settings and interpretation you'll have dig into your project yourself to figure out where the problem lies.

You're right, that was it! I didn't have the pixel aspect ratio in Ae set to square. Thank you!
