AE rendering in wrong frame rate

Hello, I recently switched from mac to windows and have been having this weird issue with rendering. Anytime I try to render in 16fps, AE will render it in 30? Like I will be able to edit in AE with my frame rate set at 16, and then when it renders it converts to 30. I have no idea how to fix this and I've never had issues rendering in 16fps when I was using mac. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it??

Hi Ashuu, did you try these settings under the render queue and media encoder to change the frame rate? Have marked in red box for your reference.

Hello,
I'm having the same issue as OP, and I've made sure to enable "use comp's frame rate" and also "preserve frame rate when nestled or in render queue", but it still won't work.
I can't use media encoder due to my version of AE not being compatible with it, so my only choice is to just AE's render queue, and I don't want to throw away my work just to comply with the 30 ish frame rate. Is there any other solution to this problem? I am very lost right now

Check the render settings in the Output Module or the Media Encoder. If you use the Presets, you should not have any problems with frame rates. If you fiddle with the settings, it's easy to foul things up. You can even foul things up by customizing the Render Settings in the Render Queue.

I checked the render settings in media encoder and was able to fix it. Thank you!
