AE Text look jagged

I'm using AE20019 on an iMac Pro suddenly all my text look jagged. What can be causing this.

    Your comp window may be zoomed into more than 100%.

    You may have the comp viewer set to half, third or maybe even quarter.

    Those are the two most common Rookie Mistakes.

    I'm having the same problem. See below. For me, it's not an issue with zoom or resolution settings. I've had the same issue before in Illustrator and fixed it by turning off GPU performance. I can't figure out how to do the same thing in AE. If I go to File>Project Settings and try to change the Mercury GPU settings, this doens't do anything.

    It looks like you applied the Roughen Edges effect to the text layer.  True?
