AE using partially my CPU and RAM

Hello, i need your help, i've already searched, tried a lot of things but haven't find the solution yet.

This week, i bought a new power machine for intensive use of AE.

Here are the specs:

I7 7800X

64 GB RAM

GTX 1080

SSD

The things is, even if i tweak AE  a bit, (in preferences -> memory) allocating all the RAM, i cannot fully use it, only partially like 8 GB, same for the processor like 15%, i guess it's must be the same for the graphic card as well. I tried differents versions of AE like 2014 or 2015 but they were no change.

Any clues, guys ?

PS: sorry again, i know this kind of question is post often.

Linear processing is the biggest reason AE can't fully utilize all system resources. A single frame of video is processed before the next frame is looked at and a single frame of video, even it is 8K video is not very much data.

This is simply how AE works. Nothing you can influence. The program rarely ever uses all resources due to its limite multithreading abilities and a lot of video stuff requiring linear processing. Conversely, even today many functions don't use any GPU functions at all or if they do, are unreliable. So there you have it - not much you can do.
