AE vs VR

Question

Hello everyone, my AE gives a message about an unsupported file format when trying to import a 360 video shot on X4. The files have the extensions *.insv and *.irv. Moreover, on YouTube, I see videos in which people work with such files in AE. Has AE 2023 stopped supporting such files?

Not sure if After Effects has natively supported these file formats. To use the insv file in Adobe apps, you can install the Insta360 plug-in. Please check out this article: https://adobe.ly/3Sz1XVo

With the plug-in installed, you can import the insv files in Premiere Pro and export for After Effects or export using Insta Studio in a different format.
