AEGP : how to adjust the boundaries of an existing box text layer

related to box texts, i was able to find only this function

AEGP_CreateBoxTextLayerInComp

which creates a new box text. but i need to change the box texts boundaries of an existing text. and also are there any ways to change the alignment etc too.
