aerender stopped working after osx security update

i just updated my osx catalina to 10.15.7 and my aerender stopped working. if anyone have any fix, please let me know.

Just download and try the newest version of AE 22.0.0 and aerender is fixed.

still no fix after the update.

According to this thread, Adobe is aware of the problem caused by the may security update to all versions of Mac OS affecting all versions of After Effects, but there is no timeline on a fix. https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/aerender-error-1701/td-p/12043974

 

For now, command line rendering / background rendering, and any render farm or render management tools that use aerender, are not functional on any updated mac system.

Still, for me too, same problem.

 

Interesting is that on my Big Sur Security settings it says only "Adobe After Effects" not the Version anymore like other people made screenshots of their settings.

That is interesting. You think maybe the Apple Security stuff is losing track of After Effects? Any way to get it to recognize it again?

 

You could try disabling Gatekeeper.

The recent Big Sur 11.4 update causes the same problem. Tell people not to update!

 

I wonder if this can be used to back up to your pre-update state?
