Affect effects error: Collect files failed. Error encountered while copying file.

Hi, all

I really wanna your help with this issue when l collect the AE working file.

Do you have any suggestions ?

Best guesses:

  • one of the files is on a drive that doesn't allow copying
  • where you're saving does not have enough space or admin permission
  • if you're copying across a network, the connection dropped out momentarily

Hi,

Thanks for sharing the guesses.

I deliver the working flie to other workmate's laptop, but it still cannot collect the files.

l have enough space for it, cuase the file is not big.

And l double check the admin permission is has full disk acess.

l did not copying across a network.

Sorry for your issue.

What's the exact version of After Effects you're using? What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? There's a bug in the current version for a similar issue which has been fixed and shipped into the beta version of After Effects. Would you mind installing the After Effects beta and testing it?
