After effect 2022 not responding problem

After effect, It used to run very smoothly before, but now the not responding can tell a friend how it will fix.

First, try using the Edit menu to Purge All Memory and Disk Cache. It that does not help try holding down Shift + Alt/Option + Ctrl/Cmnd when you launch AE and reset the preferences. If you still have problems open the Creative Cloud/All Apps section and click on the three dots to the right of the Open button for After Effects and select previous versions to roll back a version or two.
