After Effect crashes when using text tool

Hello, I'm having an issue with text tool.

I can type some text, like 2 or 3 words, but AE will eventually crash for no reason at some point while I'm typing. I get the exact same error as this person : https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/after-effects-keeps-crashing-when-i-use-the-text-tool-and-start-typing/m-p/13070056#M205828 but the anwser didn't help me, AE still crashes even though I followed his instructions. I've also tested with fonts that are installed natively so I'm sure they aren't corrupted. I'm on macOS Monterey 12.5 and I have the lastest version of AE (23.1). If someone can help me, I can't work on my project anymore.
