Sorry for your issue.

What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?

Here's what you can try:

  1. Remove any third-party plug-ins.
  2. Sign-in into the Creative Cloud desktop app with a different email, start the After Effects trial, and try to launch.

You could also try uninstalling with the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool which does a bit more thorough removal.

Try:

- Uninstalling and reinstalling

- Updating graphics drivers

 

And leave your system specifications as well.
